About Humanitas
Humanitas was created to work at the intersection of science, storytelling, and society.
Not as a traditional communications agency, but as a way of translating complex ideas into narratives that inform, connect, and drive meaningful engagement.
Humanitas is a Latin word meaning human nature, civilization, and kindness.
In a world shaped by complex, human-driven challenges, progress depends not only on knowledge, but on how that knowledge is understood, shared, and acted upon.
Over nearly two decades in environmental conservation and communications, Jenny Ioannou’s work has focused on bridging that gap – ensuring that knowledge does not remain abstract, but becomes meaningful, accessible, and actionable.
From early experience at the United Nations to campaigns and partnerships across the Mediterranean, her work has focused on bridging that gap.
Today, Humanitas works across marine conservation, sustainable innovation, and cultural initiatives—bringing together scientific, creative, and strategic perspectives to shape narratives that are both rigorous and resonant.
Humanitas operates through a curated network of collaborators, assembling the right combination of scientists, creatives, and specialists in digital and interactive experiences to design how ideas are not only communicated, but experienced.
At its core, Humanitas is about how ideas move—from knowledge to understanding, and from understanding to action.
